Job Description
- Maintain, configure, backaup and troubleshoot Sonus soft-switch system, Cisco voice enabled routers, underlying IP network, database and webservices.
- Design, test and deploy network solutions optimized for VoIP.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting, analysis, isolation, and trouble resolution of escalated VoIP network events and customer troubles
Experience/Qualifications:
- Must be able to use protocol analyzer software (Wireshark) for troubleshooting H.323, SIP, RTP, ISDN, SS7 and underlying protocols.
- Must know Solaris and Linux operating systems.
- Must do scripting in TCL, Bash, Perl.
- Must have Master’s Degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering or related field of study and 3 years of work experience.
